COE Premiums End Mixed In Second Bidding Exercise Of September 2022

Certificate of Entitlement (COE) premiums closed lower in Category A, B and E in the latest bidding exercise on Wednesday (21 September).

The latest premium for Category A cars, or those 1,600cc and below with horsepower not exceeding 130bhp closed at S$84,000, a decrease of S$2,000.

Premiums for large cars in Category B (above 1,600cc or 97kW) ended lower at S$108,051, a decrease of S$4,949 from the previous tender.

COEs for commercial vehicles, including goods vehicles and buses, increased by S$2,012 to S$67,001.

In the motorcycle category, premiums went up by S$288, to S$11,589.

In the open category (Category E), which can be used for any type of vehicles but often end up being used for big cars, premiums decreased by S$6,098, to S$107,201.
