COE Premiums Fall In 4 Out Of 5 Categories In First Bidding Exercise Of October 2022

Certificate of Entitlement (COE) premiums closed lower in all categories except for motorcycles in the latest bidding exercise on Wednesday (5 October).

The latest premium for Category A cars, or those 1,600cc and below with horsepower not exceeding 130bhp closed at S$80,501, a decrease of S$3,499.

Premiums for large cars in Category B (above 1,600cc or 97kW) ended lower at S$95,856, a decrease of S$12,195 from the previous tender.

COEs for commercial vehicles, including goods vehicles and buses, decreased by S$1,010 to S$65,991.

In the motorcycle category, premiums went up by S$162, to S$11,751.

In the open category (Category E), which can be used for any type of vehicles but often end up being used for big cars, premiums decreased by S$2,200, to S$105,001.
