COE Premiums Fall In All Categories In First COE Bidding Exercise of June 2024
Cat B and E COEs still register six figure premiums, while Cat A is now at 88 grand.
The latest premium for Category A cars, or those 1,600cc and below with horsepower not exceeding 130bhp closed at S$88,200, a decrease of S$4,500 from the previous tender.
Premiums for large cars in Category B (above 1,600cc or 97kW) ended lower at S$100,607, a decrease of S$5,082 from the previous result.
COEs for commercial vehicles, including goods vehicles and buses, decreased by S$1,412 to S$70,589.
In the motorcycle category, the premium experienced a decrease of S$322, to S$8,989.
In the open category (Category E), which can be used for any type of vehicles but often end up being used for big cars, premiums decreased by S$3,402, to S$101,600.
