COE Premiums Rise Across All 5 Categories In First Bidding Exercise Of June 2022

Certificate of Entitlement (COE) premiums closed higher in all 5 categories in the latest bidding exercise on Wednesday (8 June).

The latest premium for Category A cars, or those 1,600cc and below with horsepower not exceeding 130bhp closed at $73,801, an increase of S$5,800.

Premiums for large cars in Category B (above 1,600cc or 97kW) ended higher at S$100,684, an increase of S$4,795 from the previous tender.

COEs for commercial vehicles, including goods vehicles and buses, increased by S$1,501 to S$53,002.

In the motorcycle category, premiums went up by S$510, to S$10,000.

In the open category (Category E), which can be used for any type of vehicles but often end up being used for big cars, premiums increased by S$4,796, to S$100,697.
