COE Premiums Rise Across All Categories In First COE Bidding Exercise of August 2024
Cat B witnessed the largest spike to S$106,101, followed closely by Cat E COE at S$105,239.
The latest premium for Category A cars, or those 1,600cc and below with horsepower not exceeding 130bhp closed at S$94,289, an increase of S$2,390 from the previous tender.
Premiums for large cars in Category B (above 1,600cc or 97kW) ended higher at S$106,101, an increase of S$6,101 from the previous result.
COEs for commercial vehicles, including goods vehicles and buses, increased by S$499 to S$71,100.
In the motorcycle category, the premium experienced an increase of S$512, to S$9,601.
In the open category (Category E), which can be used for any type of vehicles but often end up being used for big cars, premiums increased by S$4,898, to S$105,239.
