COE Premiums Rise Across All Categories In First COE Bidding Exercise of September 2024
Cat A witnessed the largest spike to S$96,490.
The latest premium for Category A cars, or those 1,600cc and below with horsepower not exceeding 130bhp closed at S$96,490, an increase of S$2,590 from the previous tender.
Premiums for large cars in Category B (above 1,600cc or 97kW) ended higher at S$106,300, an increase of S$411 from the previous result.
COEs for commercial vehicles, including goods vehicles and buses, increased by S$1,601 to S$74,001.
In the motorcycle category, the premium experienced an increase of S$491, to S$9,801.
In the open category (Category E), which can be used for any type of vehicles but often end up being used for big cars, premiums increased by S$900, to S$106,901.
