COE Premiums Rise In All Categories In First Bidding Exercise of August 2023
Not quite the National Day “deal” we all had hoped for.

The latest premium for Category A cars, or those 1,600cc and below with horsepower not exceeding 130bhp closed at S$99,499, an increase of S$4,297 from the previous tender.
Premiums for large cars in Category B (above 1,600cc or 97kW) ended higher at S$126,889, an increase of S$8,888 from the previous result.
COEs for commercial vehicles, including goods vehicles and buses, increased by S$99 to S$82,100.
In the motorcycle category, the premium experienced an increase of S$1,000, to S$11,501.
In the open category (Category E), which can be used for any type of vehicles but often end up being used for big cars, premiums increased by S$4,091, to S$126,201.
