COEs go up for Both Cats A and B in March's First Bidding Exercise

This month saw 4,452 successful bids out of a total of 7,013 received during the month’s first bidding exercise for Certificates of Entitlement (COEs).

Quota of 2,061 @ $50,789, up from $49,430

Category A (cars 1,600cc and below, and have a maximum power of 130bhp),


Quota of 1,371 @ $53,300, up from $50,621

Category B (cars above 1,600cc, and have a more than 130bhp),


Quota of 170 @ $49,002, down from $49,810

The Commercial vehicle Category C,


Quota of 368 @ $7,483, up from $6,801

Motorcycle Category D,


Quota of 482 @ $51,000, up from $48,556

Open Category E,

Bids can be submitted through the Automated Teller Machines (ATMs) of DBS/POSB, the Internet Banking facility of UOB, or via the OCBC phone banking services.

The bid deposit for COEs in Categories A, B, C and E is $10,000 per bid while that for Category D is $200 per bid.
