Cycle & Carriage Leasing Opens Car Rental Branch At Changi Airport

It’s not all about new car purchases for Cycle & Carriage. The leasing arm of C&C, Cycle & Carriage Leasing has opened a new car rental frontage at Changi Airport Terminal 3 to capture the tourist segment, as well as to provide a more convenient, seamless vehicle pick-up service for long-term rental customers.

Named “myCarriage”, this e-Commerce car rental platform will have a second physical counter at Changi Airport. The first physical branch is located at 209 Pandan Gardens. Customers can view the availability of vehicles real-time and choose the desired brand and model right down to the colour.

Singapore Changi Airport experienced a substantial rebound in 2022, with 32.2 million visitors, almost half of pre-pandemic levels. This marked an improvement from the 3.05 million visitors in 2021, indicating a swift recovery after COVID-19 travel restrictions. As of October 2023, the airport's visitor count had surpassed 48 million, exceeding 70% of pre-pandemic levels. Recognising the ongoing growth in travel demand, Cycle & Carriage sees an opportune time to tap into the tourist segment by offering short-term car rentals.

The fleet is diverse, ranging from the Kia Cerato to the Mercedes-Benz S Class. The lineup also includes hybrids and EVs such as the Kia Niro, ORA Good Cat 03 Electric and Tesla Model 3. People carriers are also available, including the 7-seater Kia Carnival, Nissan Serena and Toyota Alphard, along with more lifestyle-oriented options like the BMW 420 and C180 cabrios.
