Deepal S05 Now In Singapore

Changan officially launched the Deepal S05 in Singapore, expanding its electric vehicle lineup with a new mid-sized SUV aimed at urban drivers seeking a blend of technology, practicality and contemporary design.

The launch marked another milestone for the Chinese automotive group, which has more than 160 years of heritage and recently became the official global partner of the Portugal National Football Team. Through brands such as Deepal, Avatr and Nevo, Changan continues to grow its presence in the global electric mobility market.

Building on the success of the flagship Deepal S07, the new S05 strengthened Changan's local portfolio and underscored its commitment to making electric mobility more accessible in Singapore.

Guests at the launch event were invited to experience the Deepal S05 through showroom activities and test drives, following the model's debut at the Singapore Motorshow 2026 earlier this year. Visitors explored the SUV's spacious cabin and intelligent driver-assist technologies, while football-themed activities inspired by Changan's partnership with Portugal added to the festivities.

One attendee won a trip for two to Chongqing, China, home to Changan's headquarters.

The Deepal S05 is priced from S$187,999 (with COE), and is available for viewing and test drives at 281 Alexandra Road.
