Dongfeng VIGO Electric SUV Makes Singapore Debut

Volt Auto has unveiled the all-new VIGO at the Singapore Motorshow 2026, where Dongfeng is the event’s official car sponsor. The VIGO is Dongfeng’s first Cat A electric SUV.

Compact on the outside yet spacious within, the VIGO offers a 500-litre boot with a 72-litre hidden compartment, a 2,715 mm wheelbase and a class-leading 63% usable space ratio. Its split “Heaven and Earth Gate” tailgate supports up to 150 kg and can be used as a practical platform for outdoor activities.

Inside, the Smart Cockpit is centred around a 12.8-inch HD touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, powered by a high-performance chip and complemented by Rest, Camping and Music Speaker modes. Convenience features include a 50W wireless charging pad, panoramic sunroof, 256-colour ambient lighting, keyless entry and 3.3 kW Vehicle-to-Load capability.

Safety and ease of driving are supported by Level 2 advanced driver-assistance systems, a 540-degree panoramic camera with transparent chassis view and LED headlamps with a 135-metre illumination range. Cabin refinement comes from extensive sound insulation, an ultra-low 18 dB powertrain noise level and zero-pressure seats.

The VIGO uses a 3C fast-charging battery system with up to 167 kW DC charging, enabling an 80% charge in about 18 minutes, while a dual-circuit heat-pump system allows operation from –30°C to +55°C. Measuring about 4.3 metres long, it blends urban agility with a confident SUV stance, highlighted by aerodynamic mirrors, semi-concealed door handles, a hidden rear wing and distinctive triangular taillights.

Offered at a Singapore Motorshow promotional price of S$166,888 inclusive of COE, the VIGO comes with a 10-year battery warranty and 10 years of servicing, with retail pricing starting from S$228,888 inclusive of COE. Volt Auto also confirmed plans to introduce the Dongfeng 007 sedan and the VIGO SUV in Malaysia in Q1 2026.
