Esso launches improved petrol formulation in Singapore

Motorists in Singapore will be the first in the world to enjoy Esso’s improved petrol formulation. As part of our ongoing efforts to offer our customers a better station experience, we have also upgraded the design of Esso stations in Singapore.

Mr. Neo Kim Teck, Asia Pacific Retail Sales Director said: “ExxonMobil’s scientists have developed an improved petrol formulation to provide a deeper clean that will help improve engine performance. With the new design of our facilities, motorists can enjoy more attractive and brighter service stations, while continuing to enjoy the quality, service, value and convenience that we provide.”

The latest launch is an example of ExxonMobil’s marketing innovations to serve the community and the motoring public. Some notable accomplishments over the years include:

  • Introducing the industry's first in-house fuel credit card for motorists and fleet owners
  • Offering the convenience store concept at service stations since the late 1980s
  • Launching Speedpass in 1999, the first contactless payment method in the petroleum retail industry
  • Alliance with NTUC FairPrice since 2003 to introduce 24-hour grocery, fresh food shopping and other convenience facilities across our network of service stations

Following the launch in Singapore, ExxonMobil will be looking at expanding the Synergy project in other markets around the world.
