F1: Champ’s condition worsens, in ‘hour by hour’ fight for life

After a high speed skiing crash in the alps, Michael Schumacher continues to fight for his life by the hour. This comes 1 day after the German struck his head on a rock whilst he was skiing with his son in the French alps. Thankfully he was wearing a helmet for “he definitely would not have got to here” according to a doctor. The medical crew, along with Schumacher’s former team Mercedes, held a press conference with an interpreter to deliver updates to the mainstream reporters. Doctors fear for the worse. One doctor admitted that they “ cannot say what Michael Schumacher’s future is,”, before adding that his condition is “life-threatening”. This is despite prompt treatment that relieved the effects of brain hemorrhaging, for they discovered lesions on his brain. To allow his brain to heal, the seven time world champion’s body is kept at an artificially low temperature and under a general anesthesia. “He is in a critical state in terms of cerebral resuscitation,” said a doctor. “We are working hour by hour.”Pictures used for illustration purposes only.
