F1: E22 graces track after missing 1st test
Lotus’ 2014 challenger, the E22, had its first taste of tarmac on Friday after it completed a filming day in Jerez. The Enstone-based team opted to miss the first test at Jerez last week to spend more time to work on the E22. The filming day allowed Lotus to give the car a good shakedown, before joining the rest of the grid in Bahrain for the next test. Lotus’ interpretation of the new regulation differs from that of the other teams, opting to go for a 2 pronged nose as compared to the sloping nose of the other cars.Pictures used for illustration purposes only.
