F1: Kobayashi: CT05 slower than GP2 car

Kamui Kobayashi believes that a GP2 car will be faster than his CT05 in the current states after the two pre-season tests. What he said was accurate- at Bahrain last year, pole sitter Fabio Leimer set a time of 1m39.4s in his GP2 car. Kobayashi set a personal best of 1m39.8s in the CT05. Kobayashi firmly believes that Caterham has to think about performance as well as reliability, and he is keen to help the Leafield team find some pace. He said that time is “very limited” and that the team needs to “think about reliability, as well as performance.” Pictures used for illustration purposes only.
