Frankfurt IAA 2007 - A 180hp Fiat Punto?
Abarth is making a comeback, and it aims to do so with a sizeable amount of vegenance. This particular version of the Grande Punto utilizes what might be the Bravo's 150hp 1.4 Turbo, upped to a vigorous 180hp, and given the name Abarth SS.
Aside from the standard T-Jet 1.4 Turbo of the new Punto Abarth, 180hp SS gets a drool-worthy skirtings and a sportier interior that really isn't too bad at all.
In addition to this release, Fiat has also made known that they will be taking up the Abarth insignia seriously. Hence, with everything under one roof, Fiat is starting to look serious again in the world of performance tuning and racing.
