Germany: Porsche 911 GT2 wrecked at the Nordschleife

A Porsche 911 GT2 was totally obliberated in a huge crash at the Nurburgring last Monday. The Porsche was flung through Flugplatz, one of the fastest parts of the circuit; the driver took too much speed into the corner, causing the car to crash into the barrier before lifting off and landing on its roof. Amazingly, both occupants survived the crash, a testimony to Porsche’s excellent engineering.  However it wasn’t as simple as that. The occupants didn’t just walk away from the wreck, in fact, the passenger’s airway was constricted as a result of the collapsed roof. Prompt action from other participants professional response from the experienced medical crew saved his life.
