Komoco Motors Pte Ltd has partnered EV charging provider Charge+ Pte Ltd to provide contactless test drives of a Hyundai EV directly for selected condominiums and their residents.

“Hyundai Electric Motion” is an initiative that first began with SHELL where the public can continue to pick up a Hyundai EV from selected SHELL stations.

Similarly, residents at selected condominiums can make an online booking for a 60-minute unaccompanied test drive, and experience driving and charging a Hyundai EV at their convenience - at home. It is worth noting that there is no ongoing contactless test drive at any condominiums under this program currently, so prospective users cannot make any booking for now.

Domus Condo was the first condominium within the Charge+ network to experience Hyundai Electric Motion from 29 September to 12 October 2021. The initiative was also deployed at One Canberra condominium, where it was warmly received by the residents. The condominium failed previously to pass its AGM resolution to set up EV chargers. With this initiative to allow their residents to go through the EV experience, One Canberra is now more confident that the resolution will be supported at the next AGM.

There are future plans in the pipeline to roll out this initiative at more condominiums within Charge+ network. Upcoming condominiums include One Balmoral, Sky @ Eleven and Latitude. More information will be announced on Komoco Motors and Charge+ websites.
