IN: Mahindra purchases Pininfarina

Tech Mahindra, a division of the massive Mahindra Group, announced recently that they have purchased a controlling stake in the iconic company Pininfarina S.p.A. This is the Pininfarina that has churned out iconic classics such as the Ferrari F40 and the Alfa 8C in its long and illustrious 85 year history. The deal will see the firm overseeing the Group’s high-end styling and engineering services.  Representatives from Mahindra hope that the very fact that Pininfarina is now part of their portfolio will cement the refreshed design capabilities of the entire Mahindra Group.
