Category B prices increased from S$4,200 to S$4,889, while Category A prices gone up a thousand dollars from S$3,440 to S$4,460. Likewise, the Open Category premium went up S$2,889 to S$5,889.

The recent announcement from the government in their intention to reduce COE quota by 24% was the likely cause for the increase in demand for cars.

Strange though, as it seems that Singaporeans are more fearful about lesser COE quota than having lesser jobs.
