To make the race an enjoyable experience for all, Singapore GP is making available for sale at all Circuit Park gates what they call "Survival Kits", which will each contain a pair of earplugs and a single-use rain poncho.

Each pack costs only SGD$2, and all profits from the sales will go to two registered charities: Singapore Red Cross Society, and the St. John Ambulance Singapore.

While umbrellas are allowed, their use is restricted and spectators should be mindful when using them. An opened umbrella will hinder others from seeing the race and with a strong gust of wind, an opened umbrella from the grandstands could be blown onto the track. For these two reasons, umbrellas cannot be opened in the grandstands.

Wearing a rain poncho will also make the race more enjoyable as both hands will be kept free.

Once spectators are inside the Circuit Park, after clearing the security checks, they can purchase the Survival Kit from the Red Cross and St. John members, who will be dressed in their respective uniforms. As these volunteers will be carrying around cash boxes that are sealed, the exact amount of cash would be appreciated as it is not possible for change to be given back.
