Legacy Club in Support of Subaru Charity Car Wash

Well it was a quiet lazy Sunday afternoons for many on 21st Oct '06 but for members of Legacy Club the forum was bustling with posting about the above event. Club boss, Henry was even receiving SMSs and phonecalls from many about joining in the event. Even those whom can't make it were making arrangement for others to donate on their behalf, some even ask their friends and family to join in for the good cause. When the time finally comes, it sure was impressive when the club's convoy of about a dozen cars pulled in to Subaru Hub, they even took the organiser by surprise too. At the wash some members donated despite opting not to get their car washed while some took the opportunity to have a drink and chat so that they won't have to see how their precious car will be washed. Overall the lovely New Paper New Face babes did a good job, besides it was for a good cause. However, many still felt that the publicity could have been better as many other car clubs felt that this event was an exclusive Subaru thingy. Yet some still sent their representatives to give their support. Well I guess there's no such thing as exclusivity when it comes to being charitable. In recent months, we have seen quite a number of such similar charity events involving the car clubs community and members from the community are also enthusiastic in giving their support. So let's just hope we can all do our bit for a good cause, well for the Legacy Club members this, I would say for a good clean fun, lots of eye candy and certainly for a good cause guys - good job!
