EZ-Link Pte Ltd announces that ez-link cards have been on sale at
all 7-Eleven stores since 10 June 2010. This brings ez-link card sales points out of MRT stations and bus interchanges and effectively places the card within easy access to all consumers and drivers.

The ez-link cards are available for purchase at more than 500 7-Eleven stores at $10 each, covering $5 card cost and $5 stored value. Top-ups on ez-link cards are also available at all 7-Eleven outlets, except 7-Eleven@Shell, for a fee of $0.50 per top-up. Besides these 7-Eleven stores, ez-link card holders can also top-up their cards at an extensive network of locations across the island including MRT stations, DBS/POSB ATMs, AXS Stations and at Community Clubs.

Since being the first to launch CEPAS-Compliant cards in 2008, EZ-Link has not only issued, sold and replaced about 6 million cards, but also expanded the usage of ez-link cards into the retail and motoring sectors. Now ez-link cards can be used as a payment option at retail stores such as Mustafa Shopping Centre, Dairy Farm Group’s Cold Storage, Giant, Guardian, Jasons MarketPlace, Shop N Save and 7-Eleven, and F&B outlets like Takashimaya Food Hall and Spinelli as well as for Electronic Road Pricing (ERP) gantry fees.

In the future, ez-link cards can also be used for Electronic Parking System (EPS) car park fees and even more retail stores and F&B outlets. Introducing the sale of ez-link cards at 7-Eleven makes it convenient for consumers to get a card and instantly enjoy its varied usage.
