Local News: COE Results for January Round 1

Certificates of Entitlement (COE) results climb higher in all categories except in Cat C following this round of bidding.

Certificates of Entitlement (COE) have closed higher in all categories except in Cat C following this round of bidding.

Category A (Cars under 1,600cc) segment COEs closed $10,211 higher this round at $92,100.

Elsewhere across the board, prices climbed upwards with Category B (cars over 1,600cc) COEs rising by $2,709 to close at $96,210.

Prices in the Category E (Open Category) have also increased by $111 to finish at $96,101.

The full results are as follows:
Category A (Cars below 1,600cc) : $92,100 (+12.0%)
Category B (Cars above1,600cc) : $96,210 (+2.9%)
Category C (Commercial Vehicles) : $60,000 (-3.5%)
Category D (Motorcycles) : $1,933 (+13.6%)
Category E (Open) : $96,101 (+0.1%)

A total of 1028 Cat A, B and E certificates were awarded in this round’s bidding exercise compared to 979 in the last round. A total of 1,678 COEs were awarded.
