Local News: Honda Jazz recall: KAH Motor issues statement
Singapore Honda importer has issued a statement on the Jazz recall. It reads as follows:
"Honda is only recalling 2002-2004 Honda Jazz models in Singapore. We will inspect the switches. If there are any signs of corrosion, we will replace switches and apply waterproof skirt to prevent moisture or water from getting into the PCB (Printed Circuit Board). If there is no corrosion, waterproof skirt will be applied. We will write to owners the moment we receive countermeasure parts. The recall announced by Honda worldwide on 29 Jan 2010 affects 2267 Honda Jazz cars. 2005-2008 Jazz cars are not affected as the design of switch is different. 2009 Jazz is also not affected."
