The Land Transport Authority (LTA) will be opening the newly converted down-ramp from the West Coast Highway viaduct at Telok Blangah Road between Wishart Road and Seah Im Road from 3pm, Thursday, 17 December 2009.

This newly converted down-ramp is part of LTA's works to reconfigure the ramps to the West Coast Highway viaduct, so that traffic from Keppel Road (Pasir Panjang bound) heading to Henderson Road need not go through the busy traffic junctions along Telok Blangah Road at Kampong Bahru Road and Sentosa Gateway.

The reconfiguration works are part of the overall improvement works to the road system in the Sentosa-HarbourFront area to cope with the anticipated growth in traffic with the opening of the Resorts World at Sentosa in early 2010 as well as future developments in the HarbourFront and Keppel Bay areas.
