Motor Image proudly presents the new Subaru XV 1.6i – the newest variant from the XV model line-up. This follows the successful launch of the new Subaru 2.0i Premium last December in Singapore, which officially introduced a new generation crossover model that redefines and blends exceptional SUV practicality with a fashionable form.

With the new 1.6i model variant, Subaru’s crossover family continues to grow. Similar to the 2.0i Premium model, the stock of the new 1.6i model meant for Singapore will be imported from Japan. The Subaru XV 1.6i comes with the all-new third-generation Subaru Boxer engine, which has undergone its first complete redesign in 21 years, resulting in greater fuel efficiency without a compromise on performance quality. The all-new Subaru Boxer engine perfects the harmony of 3 core Subaru concepts, which focuses on eco-friendly performance, driving excitement and safety.

The newly developed 1.6-litre DOHC Boxer engine with Lineartronic CVT (continuous variable transmission) is capable of boosting output in all speed ranges, while striking a fine balance between fuel efficiency and unrivalled performance. Coupled with two core Subaru technologies – the symmetrical All-Wheel Drive (AWD) and advanced Subaru Dynamic Chassis Control concept – the XV 1.6i has the ability to deliver an enjoyable driving experience that will feel incredibly safe and secure on diverse terrains. To top it off, an improved Active Valve Control System (AVCS) and an optimised intake also provides the new XV 1.6i with an ample amount of low-end torque, ensuring smooth acceleration.

The new Subaru XV is specifically designed for customers looking for a vehicle that offers both looks and functionality. The chic design of the new Subaru XV is honed from the perfect fusion of SUV functionality and a stylish urban form
