Maxus eTerron 9 All-Electric Truck Arrives In Singapore
Dual motor powertrain musters 325kW and a punchy 700Nm of torque.

When we think of electric trucks, YouTube would have you glued on clips of the Cybertruck and the Rivian R1T - American-leaning offerings that make us question their relevance on local soil. Granted, these are extreme examples of electrified haulers, but the appeal of one not powered by a diesel engine is pretty much justified. Torque-laden, plenty of towing muscle and modern - cue the Maxus eTerron 9 bound for Singapore. And it starts from S$150k without COE, which at time of writing makes it S$215k with a Cat C COE.

Slots in an untapped segment
Cycle & Carriage (C&C) has launched the Maxus eTerron 9 in Singapore - the most powerful and advanced all-electric 4WD pickup in its class. It joins C&C’s existing Maxus electric lineup, which includes the eDeliver 5, 7, and 9.

2 motors, plenty of grunt
This dual-cab 4WD is powered by a 325kW dual-motor system delivering 700Nm of torque. Equipped with front and rear differential locks and an ATS 3.0 system, it offers six preset drive modes and a 4WD mode that adapts to over 400 driving scenarios.

Up to 566km per charge
It has a best-in-class towing capacity of up to 3,500kg (braked) and 750kg (unbraked), making it ideal for heavy-duty tasks. Its 102.2kWh battery delivers a WLTP city range of up to 566km, ensuring dependable performance for demanding commercial use.

Independent air suspension
Its wheelbase is measured at 3,300mm, offering generous space for five passengers and a foldable front seat that creates a nearly 170cm flat rest area. It features a 236L weatherproof frunk (another benefit of going diesel-free!) and a 1,253L molded rear cargo bed. An independent air suspension system comes as standard, enhancing ride comfort, handling and allowing the rear to lower by 60mm for easier cargo access.

V2L ready
Inside, there are dual 12.3-inch displays for easy control of settings and safety systems. It also functions as a mobile power hub with Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) capability, offering up to 6.6kW through an external port, and three internal outlets in the frunk and rear bed delivering up to 2.2kW each.
