Mitsubishi to cut another 900 jobs
The Japanese manufacturer needs to further downsize in order to cope with low market demand.

The move follows Mitsubishi's announcement last November that it would lay off around 1,000 workers.
That number is equivalent to one third of Mitsubishi's temporary work force. Mitsubishi is Japan's fourth largest car manufacturer, and they may not renew contracts for selected contract workers.
Mitsubishi is now studying the possibility of enacting personnel transfers to try and minimise the number of layoffs.
