Mitsubishi To Reveal Evolution Concept In Detriot
As if reading everyone's minds when we all proclaimed that the new Lancer seems tamer than what we had anticipated, Mitsubishi today revealed sketches of something more exciting in the pipeline.
Two sketches of a new performance sedan, which will be unveiled in the Detriot Motor Show in January 07, were released by Mitsubishi. No specifications are available yet, though they should be available in the coming few weeks. This is very likely going to be a preview of what the next Lancer-based Evolution will look like, which according to the sketches, should set some hearts racing and adrelaline pumping.
Similar to the entry-level Lancer, the new performance sedan sports a Galant-esque face, though the larger front air dam gives it a more menacing look. They also seemed to have employed the use of a row of LEDs in the front bumper (a-la Audi). However, this may not make it to the production models. Images after the jump...
