The third-generation Audi Q3 advances the model’s decade-long success with SUV and Sportback styling, cutting-edge digital features and enhanced safety. Highlights include adaptive micro-LED Matrix headlights for personalised, high-resolution lighting, a refined suspension and efficient powertrains, ranging from mild-hybrid tech to a plug-in hybrid offering up to 119km of electric range.

It now adopts a bolder look with a wide Singleframe grille, tapered headlights and a sculpted side profile. The Sportback adds a coupé-inspired roofline 29mm lower than the SUV.

Lighting is a key highlight, with first-in-segment digital Matrix LED headlights using micro-LED modules for sharper illumination and integration with driver assistance, alongside optional digital OLED rear lights, a full-width LED strip, illuminated rings and 23-segment daytime running light signatures.

Inside, the new Audi Q3 offers a cleaner, more spacious layout thanks to a redesigned steering wheel control unit with integrated levers for gear selection and light/wiper functions. Acoustic glazing for the front side windows are introduced for the first time in Audi’s compact segment. Practical features include a 488-litre boot (expandable to 1,386 liters in the SUV or 1,289 litres in the Sportback) and a sliding and reclining rear bench as standard.

There is now an option to upgrade to a two-valve damper system. Advanced safety includes adaptive driving assistant plus, a driver-monitoring interior camera, trained parking for personalised parking and reverse assist to help back out of tight spots.

Both SUV and Sportback variants will come with five drivetrain options. First up will be the front wheel drive, mild hybrid-equipped 110kW TFSI pushing 250Nm, which we reckon could be the closest Cat A-friendly version we’ll get once it’s specced for the Singapore market. The new e-hybrid 220kW, also front wheel drive, will be one to watch out for given our market’s increasing interest in PHEVs. Other options include a TDI 110kW, and a couple of 2.0-litre quattros in different states of tune (150kW and 195kW).
