New London cab hits sales record
The makers of the London Cab is selling better than ever, and its makers hope that the new revised model with a Euro IV compliant diesel engine will do even better.
The LTI TX4 is the official name of the London Cab, and it is the only custom-built taxi-cab in the world. In latest, this iconic taxi has received a minor facelift as well as a new VM turbodiesel engine that satisfies Euro IV diesel emission standards.
Other standard features include ABS and a wheelchair-friendly passenger cabin. The new TX4 has already outsold the last model since it was launched in October 2006 with 362 units sold in a month. For the same period last year, LTI sold just 215 TX4 units.
It just goes to show that classic designs never die, they just continue to get better and better.
