208 Audi customers fiercely contested the 18-hole competition at Sentosa Golf Club’s Tanjong and Serapong courses. Audi’s first class hospitality was reflected throughout the day’s event, which was exclusively organised for Audi owners and their invited guests. Audi Singapore Brand Ambassador, Quincy Quek kicked off the event with a golf clinic, providing demonstrations and tips to help Audi customers perfect their game.

The winning duo of the Tanjong course, Ng and Yoshimura, with a score of 46 went head-to-head with Mr. David Gartrell and Mr. Colin Clark, winners of the Serapong course with a score of 45, in a final round to clinch the title of Audi quattro Cup 2015 Singapore Winners.

Both pairs demonstrated great skill and sportsmanship, reflecting the true Audi spirit of precision and endurance. In a close run, Ng and Yoshimura remained composed and committed to the end, earning themselves the title, and with it, the honour of representing the nation in Mexico later this year.

“I really enjoyed the competition today, it was a pleasure to be a part of such a wonderful event, and great to see so much support for the sport,” said Yoshimura. “Right now, I’m going to celebrate and then it is back to practicing for the finals in November.”

“I feel proud to be flying the Singapore flag, and we’ll be sure to do our best in Mexico. A big thanks to Audi Singapore for putting on such a well organised day,” said Ng.

In the spirit of competition, Audi Singapore offered two “Hole-in-One” car prizes at each course. The new A7 Sportback, athletic and elegant in style, is Presence Refined with its new design technologies. This masterpiece of automotive engineering combines the emotional appeal and sportiness of a coupe with the comfort of a sedan and the functional benefits of an Avant.

The other “Hole-in-One” car model to be won at both courses was the Audi TT Coupe. A completely revised edition of a modern classic, the third generation Audi TT Coupe captivates with its evocative design, dynamic qualities and its use of innovative technologies, including the Audi virtual cockpit. Unfortunately, the four cars were not won at this year’s event.

Customers at this year’s Audi quattro Cup were granted an exclusive preview of the Audi Q7, the great quattro. A statement of the high-tech competence of Audi, the new Audi Q7 is the most efficient and lightest car in its class. Luxurious comfort, the largest interior in the segment, innovative assistance and infotainment systems take the large SUV to the front of the pack.

The Audi quattro Cup 2015, celebrating its Silver Jubilee this season, has become one of the most distinguished amateur golf tournaments around the world, bringing together more than 100,000 players from 53 countries. The popularity of this tournament has grown from strength to strength each year, with more than 1.4 million golfers taking part over the last 25 years.

“I would like to thank all the participants of today’s competition and to extend my congratulations to Chiang Ling and Atsushi on their great win,” said Mr. Jeff Mannering, Managing Director, Audi Singapore. “Audi prides itself on championing cutting edge sportsmanship camaraderie, and we hope to put Singapore on the map in Mexico later this year. I wish the two winners the best of luck as they play in the World Finals.”
