Nissan Serena e-POWER Smart 8 Highway Star Launched

Tan Chong Motor Sales has launched the all-new Nissan Serena e-POWER Smart 8 Highway Star, strengthening Nissan’s electrified MPV range with a clear emphasis on versatility and family practicality.

The Serena Smart 8 introduces a segment-first Smart 8 Seating layout that allows the vehicle to switch between seven- and eight-seat configurations. A multi-function front armrest can be repositioned into the second row to serve as a proper eighth seat, giving families the option of more space or more seating when required.

The MPV is powered by Nissan’s second-generation e-POWER system, offering quiet, smooth, electric-like driving without the need for external charging.

Inside, the Serena Smart 8 focuses on comfort and ease of use. The cabin comes with black Nappa leather upholstery, a 12.3-inch digital instrument display and a large NissanConnect infotainment screen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Additional features include tri-zone automatic climate control with a Plasmacluster Ioniser, USB charging ports, fold-out tables and sunshades for second and third row passengers. Hands-free sliding doors and a dual tailgate are designed to make daily use more convenient.

Safety and driver assistance are covered by Nissan Intelligent Mobility technologies such as Intelligent Emergency Braking, Around View Monitor with Moving Object Detection, Blind Spot Intervention, Lane Intervention, Intelligent Cruise Control, High Beam Assist and Vehicle Dynamic Control.
