Nissan Teana Launched in Japan
The new Nissan Teana, which made its debut at the recent Auto China motor show in Beijing, has finally made it to dealerships in Japan.

The new luxury sedan from the Japanese marque displays a few new features for the brand - firstly its the first car to the use the company's new D Platform and the Teana is the first with a glass roof for Nissan.
The Nissan Teana comes with a brand new look especially in the front with a 3D like grille since the three horizontal bars seem to be cut from a sphere. In order to justify the luxury tag Nissan offers its new flagship with plenty of gadgets and safety features like an intelligent air-conditioning system, Bose surround sound audio system and HDD based Carwings navigation system.
The Nissan Teana is powered by either a 2.5-liter VQ25DE engine with 185bhp or the 3.5-liter VQ35DE V6 unit putting out 252bhp. The 4WD model uses Nissan QR25DE engine, which produces 167bhp. All Teana models use the Xtronic CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission).
