November’s Second Bidding Exercise… Mixed, slightly down for Cat A and B

This month saw 4,367 successful bids received during the month’s second bidding exercise for Certificates of Entitlement (COEs).

Quota of 1,686 @ $46,791, down from $47,112,

Category A (cars 1,600cc and below, and have a maximum power of 130bhp),


Quota of 1,383 @ $57,390, down from $57,414,

Category B (cars above 1,600cc, and have a more than 130bhp),

Quota of 244 @ $57,701, down from $58,036,

Commercial vehicle Category C,

Quota of 538 @ $5,992, up from $5,502,

Motorcycle Category D,

Quota of 516 @ $57,501, up from $57,000,

Open Category E (All but motorcycles),

Bids can be submitted through the Automated Teller Machines (ATMs) of DBS/POSB and the Internet Banking facilities of UOB or Maybank, do ensure that you have bank accounts with these participating banks.

The bid deposit for COEs in Categories A, B, C and E is $10,000 per bid while that for Category D is $200 per bid.
