One Unit Of Porsche 911 Turbo 50 Years Available In Singapore, And It Costs S$1,377,058

We won’t blame you if you’re drawn first to the Porsche 911 Spirit 70, unveiled on the same day as this 911 Turbo 50 Years at Porsche Studio Singapore. Patterns on those seats alone puts you in a “psychedelic” state; it’s meant to capture the playful disco dancin’ essence of the 70s and early 80s after all. But while a “handful” of Spirit 70s will be registered in Singapore, only one 911 Turbo 50 Years is confirmed for our island nation. Exotic car spotters, target locked!

Porsche released the 911 Turbo 50 Years in August last year to commemorate the model’s 50th anniversary. Limited to 1,974 units worldwide, the car combines high performance with premium materials and exclusive design inspired by past 911 Turbo models.

Based on the 911 Turbo S, it pays tribute to its heritage with design elements inspired by the 1973 911 RSR Turbo. It features side vinyl graphics and debuts the Porsche-exclusive Turbonite colour on a 911, applied to the rear engine cover inlays, fuel cap, Porsche crest and model logo.

Anthracite Grey accents appear on the rear wing blade, apron, mirror bases and air intake trims. A commemorative badge on the rear grille displays a turbocharger icon and the years (1974 - 2024), while LED door projectors cast a turbocharger image onto the ground. The car also includes 911 Turbo S Exclusive Design wheels finished in Turbonite.

It features a 3.7-litre twin-turbo boxer engine with variable turbine geometry, producing 650PS and 800Nm. Weighing in at 1,640 kg, it delivers a power-to-weight ratio of 2.52 kg/PS, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.7 seconds (without electric assistance!) and reaching 200km/h in 8.9 seconds. Power is managed through an 8-speed PDK and Porsche’s active all-wheel-drive system with Torque Vectoring Plus. A sports exhaust with black tailpipes comes standard.

The 911 Turbo 50 Years model available in Singapore is equipped with the optional Turbo Heritage Design Package, which adds exclusive styling and equipment details. It features Aventurine Green Metallic paint and the historic 1964 Porsche crest on the bonnet and wheel centre caps. The Sport Classic wheels are finished in Brilliant Silver and White (satin), while the Turbo 50 and Porsche logos at the rear are in gold.

Inside, the cabin includes extended leather trim, tartan-patterned accents on the dashboard, glove box and seat backs, along with green dials and a Sport Chrono clock. The Porsche crest appears on the steering wheel, and the centre console features an embossed Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur logo.
