Peugeot 408 unveiled in Beijing
Following its success in the mid-range segment, with the 307 hatchback and 307 sedan produced in 3,522,800 units around the world, Peugeot is continuing to conquer the Chinese market.

The new Peugeot 408 Dong Feng should enable the brand to boost volumes by more than 30% in 2010 compared with 2009, twice the expected rate of market growth.
Designed and developed in France to meet the needs of Chinese customers and conquer this market, the Peugeot 408 will be produced in Wuhan and launched in China in spring 2010. It will then be marketed in South America.
With barely five years of presence on the Chinese market, the Peugeot brand sold more than 410,000 vehicles overall this year, with sales up 44% in 2009 over 2008.
