Pininfarina to build own car
Pininfarina reveals their all-electric concept car, said to have a range of 250km.

The B0 (pronounced B-zero), is Pininfarina's self-branded car. It is dedicated to the memory of Andrea Pinifarina, who was killed in a recent motorcycle accident.
The electric car will be produced in a joint venture between Pininfarina and French company Bollor, who have a stong market position in the electric battery field.
The B0 will be powered by Bollor's LMP technology, which uses a combination of batteries and supercapacitors. The system will also be backed up by solar panels fitted to the roof and hood. It has the potential to power the B0 Concept for an uninterrupted run of 250km.
Performance wise, Pininfarina claims a 0-100km/h time of 6.3 seconds, and a top speed which is limited to 130km/h. To recharge the vehicle, owners can simply plug the car into to an electrical socket in their home.
Production of the B0 is scheduled for the end of 2009, but there is still no word on what prices for this car will be like.
