Pirelli Cinturato Rosso with Seal Inside Technology Debuts In Singapore

Pirelli has introduced a new version of its Cinturato Rosso tyre in Singapore, adding puncture-sealing capability to a model already positioned for comfort-focused everyday driving.
The Cinturato Rosso with Seal Inside technology is designed for the replacement market and will be offered in sizes ranging from 16 to 20 inches, making it compatible with a wide range of modern sedans, crossovers and SUVs.
The key addition is Pirelli’s Seal Inside system, which allows the tyre to retain air pressure after certain punctures caused by external objects. This enables drivers to continue driving without needing to stop immediately for a tyre change, a feature aimed at improving convenience and safety in real-world conditions.
Beyond the sealing layer, the tyre retains the core characteristics of the existing Cinturato Rosso, including a fully grooved tread pattern and a central rib designed to reduce noise and enhance ride comfort.
Pirelli said the tyre was developed using a combination of virtual simulation tools and artificial intelligence, reducing reliance on physical prototypes. The company claims this approach shortens development time while refining performance, reflecting a broader shift in how tyres are engineered.
