Porsche Asia Pacific has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Institute of Technical Education (ITE) to deepen collaboration in sustainable mobility and next-generation automotive technologies over the next five years, helping equip students and educators with industry-relevant skills as Singapore moves towards electrified mobility.

The partnership includes knowledge exchange in areas such as high-voltage battery technology, EV diagnostics and digitalisation, alongside internship opportunities with Porsche Singapore and potential overseas attachments at Porsche facilities, including its assembly plant in Kedah, Malaysia.

ITE educators will also receive specialised training. Two lecturers from ITE College West recently completed high-voltage battery training at the Porsche Service Centre in Singapore, gaining hands-on experience with Porsche’s EV battery repair concepts.

To support technical training, Porsche plans to provide a Porsche Macan Electric for use at ITE, while also sponsoring Book Prizes and Achiever Awards to recognise top-performing students during the collaboration.
