Proton e.MAS Singapore Celebrates 100 e.MAS 7 Deliveries

Proton e.MAS Singapore, represented exclusively by VINCAR Group, has delivered its first 100 e.MAS 7 electric SUVs in Singapore. It’s an encouraging start for the brand’s comeback after roughly a decade out of the market. The e.MAS 7 was introduced locally in September 2025, with VINCAR handling distribution.

The SUV has gained some traction among buyers looking for a well-specced, value-driven EV. It measures 4,615mm in length with a 2,750mm wheelbase, translating to a relatively roomy interior. It runs on a 60.22kWh LFP battery, offering up to 410km of WLTP range (or 553km in city conditions), paired with a motor producing 100kW and 320Nm. Fast charging from 30 to 80% takes about 20 minutes, and features like V2L and V2V are included.

Safety is a strong point, with a 5-star ASEAN NCAP score of 92.57. Standard equipment includes six airbags and Level 2 driver assistance systems such as adaptive cruise control, autonomous emergency braking, lane keeping assist, blind spot monitoring and a 360-degree camera. Comfort-wise, the car uses a MacPherson front and multi-link rear suspension setup, along with features like ventilated front seats, a panoramic roof, and up to 1,877 litres of cargo space with the rear seats folded.

Inside, it gets Geely’s Flyme Auto infotainment, centred around a 15.4-inch touchscreen, along with a 10.2-inch instrument cluster and a 13.8-inch head-up display. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 16-speaker sound system and voice control are all part of the package.

VINCAR is set to grow the lineup in the second half of 2026 with two more models. The e.MAS 5 will be a smaller EV with a CATL LFP battery capable of charging from 30 to 80% in 21 minutes, rear-wheel drive, and added practicality like a 70-litre front trunk. An e.MAS 7 PHEV is also planned.
