Petrol prices fell by three cents a litre across all grades of petrol.

A litre of 98, 95 and 92-octane petrol now costs $1.71, $1.566 and $1.558 respectively, before discounts.

The reduction in pump prices came in the midst of lower oil prices, with crude oil for March falling 31 cents to US$34.62 a barrel two days ago.
