Road closure around Suntec City
For those of you planning to shop early for Christmas, you might be frustrated to know that the roads around Suntec will be closed on Monday.
The road closures, due to security arrangements for this year's National Day Awards Investiture, will be in effect from 5pm to 11 pm. Public bus services will also be re-routed.
Road closures include Temasek Boulevard towards the Fountain of Wealth and the roads between Raffles Boulevard and the roundabout.
The opposite carriageway of Temasek Boulevard coming from Rochor Road will remain open.
Other roads affected by the closure includes the left-most lane of Nicoll Highway towards the city between Suntec City Driveway and Raffles Boulevard and the left-most lane of Raffles Boulevard between Bras Basah Road and Temasek Boulevard.
So, if you are planning to do your Christmas shopping around Suntec area on Monday, do anticipate a jam.
Alternatively, you can wait till Tuesday to get your shopping done.
