SG: 200km of walkways to be built by 2018
Currently, the complex network of sheltered walkways from major transport hubs span 46km. That is set to change, for the government has just called for a tender which would see a further 200km added to that figure. The tenders will affect MRT stations in the North-Eastern and North-Western parts of the island. Two more tenders which will be called later this year, will cover the rest of the MRT and LRT stations.Pictures used for illustration purposes only.
