SG: Delays expected at checkpoint over festive period

The ICA expects up to 430,000 travellers to utilise the Tuas and Woodlands checkpoints over the upcoming Lunar New Year holidays. As such, they warn that there may be delays, and travellers should plan their trips carefully. Even though the first day of Chinese New Year falls on 8th Feb, traffic volume is expected to start building up from the 4th of February, and last till the 14th of February. The problem will be compounded as a result of stringent security checks at the checkpoint. Do check on the traffic situation before heading out. Pictures used for illustration purposes only.
