SG: Driver smuggling drugs arrested

A black Malaysian registered Honda Civic was found at a Woodlands Checkpoint to be carrying almost a kilogram of drugs worth $127,000 hidden in its front wings on the 9th of May. The -year-old male Malaysian driver was arrested at about 9am that day, and further CNB raids of a Tampines HDB flat and a Bedok HDB flat later in the afternoon, saw a further arrest of three Singaporean men aged between 27 and 57, a 41-year-old Singaporean woman and a 38-year-old Indonesian woman. Total value of drugs seized that day? $170,000, from almost 2kg of the stuff. Pictures for illustration purposes only.
