SG: ERP Rates revised
ERP rates at 4 gantries along the MCE and ECP will be lowered from the 4th of August. This comes after LTA’s latest quarterly review of traffic conditions on the 29th of July. For motorists that pass through the 2 gantries along the ECP, both KPE and City-bound, fees will only be charged after 8 am. Currently, commuters have to pay $1 from 7.30 am onwards. The two gantries on the west-bound MCE, before the Maxwell Road exit and on the slip road to Marina Coastal Drive, will have a $1 reduction in rate from 8.30am to 9am. At present, motorists will have to pay $3 per gantry. From the 4th of August, new ERP gantries along the AYE will begin operation, in a bid to control traffic flow from between Jurong Town Hall Road and North Buona Vista Road. Those that utilise the expressway from after Jurong Town Hall, on Clementi Ave 6 and Clementi Ave 2 slip roads will have to fork out S$2 between 7.30am and 9am, and S$1 between 6pm and 7pm.
For those travelling towards Tuas on the AYE after the North Buona Vista exit, prepare to S$1 from 6pm to 6.30pm, and S$2 from 6.30pm to 7pm.
