SG: Increased supply of COEs from February to April

Up to 4,800 COEs will be available for purchase montly from the February to April. This is an increase of 18.3% as compared to the supply in the previous three month period. The supply of COEs for private cars will rise 23% to 3,766 per month, which is more than double the supply for the same period in 2014. For Category A, expect 1,973 COEs to be made available per month. There will be 1,444 COEs for cars in Category B, and 369 for the goods vehicles and buses in Category C. Supply of Category D, which is for motorcycles, will decrease by 10.1% to only 570 COEs monthly. However, its loss is nothing compared to Cat E, which will drop a staggering 33.8% to only 349 COEs monthly. The overall increase in the number of COEs should lower premiums in the next few months, and the trend is set to continue for the next couple of years. Pictures used for illustration purposes only.
