SG: Man arrested for stealing diesel
A 38-year old man suspected of stealing 6,500 litres of diesel from an oil tank has been arrested. The man is an employee at a shipyard in Tuas, and it is believed that the diesel was transferred to a tugboat. That said, no one knows what he did with the diesel afterwards. The police received a call at 10:00am on Tuesday after the diesel was discovered missing, which led to a hunt and an arrest about 6 hours later. He may be charged with a seven year jail term and a fine if found guilty.
